Dr Tim Dunne is a Consultant Clinical & Organizational Psychologist

He has worked in the UK, USA, Australia, Switzerland & Ireland as a psychologist. Tim studied psychology in University College, Dublin and later at the University of London (Birkbeck College) where he gained a post-graduate Master’s degree. He obtained his Doctorate degree from the University of Middlesex, London. He has over 40 years’ experience in the health & business sectors in Ireland & the UK.

Tim trained in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) in 2003 and he has had a private practice in EMDR in Ireland, UK & Switzerland since then.

Looking back, my full-day therapy session with Tim really was a turning point. Tim’s gentle but intensive approach over six hours explored the issues at the core of my mental health challenges, exposed them in a safe and controlled way, and addressed them through treatment processes that helped to disconnect them from my past. The outcome was a much stronger sense of clarity, control and confidence that has endured since, in the face of the kinds of life events that would ordinarily have sent me down a path of anxiety and depression. I often say that I was “wired up” wrong, as a result of childhood trauma. This full day session helped me to “re-wire” my thinking and I feel much more stable, secure and self-aware as a result.
